What to Bring to your Wedding Rehearsal
As you prep for your wedding you’ll start thinking about your wedding rehearsal and what you might need to bring along. It will depend on where it is and if you’re having or hosting a dinner afterward but some ideas we have to get you started:
Wedding Rings
Make sure to bring the actual wedding rings that you’ll exchange during the ceremony.
Wedding Vows
If you’ve written your own vows, bring a copy for reference during the rehearsal.
Wedding Program
If you have a printed program outlining the ceremony events, bring a copy for your officiant and wedding party to review.
Marriage License
Some couples bring their marriage license to the rehearsal to ensure all legal paperwork is in order.
Wedding Accessories
Any additional items you’ll need during the ceremony, such as unity candles, special readings, or ceremonial objects.
Music
If you’re using live music or have specific songs for certain parts of the ceremony, bring any necessary sheet music or audio recordings for the rehearsal.
Camera
Consider bringing a camera or smartphone to capture moments during the rehearsal, especially if your photographer or videographer won’t be present.
Refreshments
Depending on the timing and location of your rehearsal, you might want to bring snacks or refreshments for your wedding party.
Emergency Kit
Pack a small bag with essentials like safety pins, tissues, stain remover, and any other items that might come in handy for last-minute fixes.
Timeline & Instructions
If you have specific instructions for your wedding party or vendors, bring a written timeline and any relevant details to go over during the rehearsal.
Wedding Planner, of course!
It’s our job to be there but if you haven’t hired us make sure who you have hired has this in their service offerings. We’re not all made the same so make sure to double check.
Patience and flexibility
Lastly, bring a positive attitude and plenty of patience! Rehearsals can sometimes be hectic, but staying flexible and focused on the joy of the occasion will help everything run smoothly.
