Corrie & Jeff’s Gimli Lakeside Wedding

Corrie & Jeff first had their sights on a destination wedding. After a bit of planning they decided to put a little twist on it and do a local destination wedding. What better then a Gimli lakeside wedding? And when you have three family cabins (all in a row) along one of the prettiest lakeside views there simply isn’t a better – and more personal – location then this.

We don’t get to plan as many lake or cabin weddings as we would like so when Corrie & Jeff told us their idea and vision for their day we were very excited. If you know us at Amanda Douglas Events at all – or even just follow our Instagram – you’ll see that we love getting to do anything in nature (or with animals!). We think that all weddings should have some part outside (even if it’s just for photos). So Corrie & Jeff’s plan to do their ceremony on the family lakeside property was 100% up our alley.

Although rain came and went throughout the day it was still wonderful and nothing could stop these two, their love, and their wedding from happening.
