Nadia & Thomas’ Wedding in the Woods
I knew from the beginning that I was going to love Nadia & Thomas’ wedding. Their attention to detail, their personal touches, it was all so beautiful and so them.
The first look. We just love it. If you plan to have your ceremony and go right into the reception, you’re going to need to do the photos earlier in the day, but that doesn’t mean you don’t get to have that special moment. That excited butterflies in your belly “what are they going to think?” feeling.
From Lauren of Stone House Creative: “I LOVED Nadia’s bouquet. I included some locally grown white peonies – 1 stem had 3 blooms on it!! It was amazing. Ingredients: peonies, quicksand roses, campanula, bleeding heart (from my garden), and several varieties of eucalyptus.”
Nadia & Thomas spent the beginning of the day with their closest family and friends and the photos being taken were almost second play to just enjoying each other.
We always tell our couples: “Make sure you have something with you to eat on your day! There’s nothing worse then getting hangry on your wedding day”. I’m so happy these guys took me seriously. And enjoyed themselves and the little lunch break too.
Live music just sets the tone so well. And out, in nature, with the added sounds of the birds; utter bliss.
If you didn’t know I’m a commissioner. Sometimes our clients want a friend or family member to marry them but simply need someone to do the legal part. I don’t mind stepping in and taking care of this very special duty.
Cocktail hour just isn’t cocktail hour without something delicious to go along with the cocktails.
All these signs, place-cards and, details – Nadia did them all herself by hand. Yes, this takes a lot of time, and a lot of practice, but she totally nailed it.
At Cielo’s Garden it’s easy to sneak away – Bride & Groom – for a few private moments to let it all sink in. One of the many bistro lite paths make for the perfect place to go for a stroll.
