Shaelyn & Andy’s Steep Rock Wedding

Shaelyn and Andy had a beautiful Steep Rock wedding. If you don’t know where Steep Rock is, or even that whole area of Manitoba, you should definitely do a quick Google. Or just simply keep scrolling to see just how beautiful this area is.

It was a warm and sunny summer day, puffy clouds, blue skies, perfect for a wedding.

The groom came in on horseback. I’m not sure if it gets more romantic than that!

Giving the kids one more little pep-talk before we got started. It was a bit of a longer walk and the boys were bringing in their doggy partner-in-crime so we needed a touch more practice.

Mother Nature decided to give us a blessing on the day and we got rain during the ceremony. That didn’t stop us and we kept going, I condensed the ceremony slightly, but we got through it all umbrella’s in hand.

After the ceremony the couple took a leisurely carriage ride around the area. I’m not sure about you but a horse drawn carriage ride led by an oldtime-y cowboy? Yes, any time!

Although, the weather started to turn on us a little bit during the ceremony, the rest of the day and the start of the day was beautiful. Great for photos and some outdoor time.

Guests started to head back to the hall for the cocktail hour and reception.

Now if you would’ve seen this hall before all the lights and decorations you wouldn’t believe it. It’s always amazing how a room can be transformed with a little bit of pretty. And generally a whole lotta lighting. You can hide all sorts of exit signs and weird pillars and strange shapes in a room with proper lighting.

There was a wardrobe change (dress #2 came out!) and we went on to Grand Entrance which morphed into a fun first dance choreographed by the couple.

The night moved on with a great barbecue dinner, cake cutting and smashing, and lots of memorable speeches.

A big thanks to all the vendors, family, and friends that helped bring together Shaelyn & Andy’s Steep Rock wedding:
