If you know me, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of eating right, and drinking smoothies. Most days I make a large green smoothie in the morning and have it for breaky and lunch.
I believe having a clean body helps you have a clean soul, or at least is a step in the right direction. Everything is connected, so if you’re not taking care of your body you’re not taking care of your soul, and who doesn’t need a little more love and care for themselves?
I’m always asked what I eat and what I do to stay in shape and be healthy, so I thought I’d share a little bit with you here. And, really all you brides out there are looking for something to help you tone up, lose weight, or get that bridal glow. First thing, just be you, you’re gorgeous just the way you are. Secondly, make healthy life style choices, don’t diet just for your wedding. Trust me, you won’t be happy with yourself afterward! There’s no need to have that “I was in the best shape of my life on my wedding day” memory. Be the best you all the time, not just for one day.
With that being said, here are some great options to make those good and healthy wedding choices:
My go to smoothie “recipe”
I’m not much for sticking to any certain recipe, I use them more as guides but I wanted to share what I usually make myself in the morning:
– Kale or spinach
– 1/2 of a green apple
– 1 scoop protein powder
– Water
– 1/4 cup mango
– 1 tbs chia seed
– 3 tbs hemp seed (I love protein!)
– Mixed berries

I’m the hugest fan of the Vitamix. If you’re going to really go all in with a good life style change, and have smoothies all the time forget everything else and get yourself one!
