Courtney & Scott’s Pineridge Hollow Wedding

Courtney and Scott are just the most darling people. They had a beautiful Pineridge Hollow wedding this last year and we were so honoured to get to be a part of it.

They hired us very early on and we got started right away is. They had postpone their wedding after finding out some elating news that Courtney was pregnant. Once planning pick back up we got going with securing the venue, and all the other vendors.

I always find it so cute how we can track the length we’ve been planning with a couple by the progression of life and little ones. Courtney went from barely pregnant to little baby Graceyn running around on the wedding day.

Their wedding took place in summer and the day was beautiful and warm. It was really perfect for these two.

If you don’t know Pine Ridge Hollow at all it’s a beautiful tent wedding venue just outside, or sort of mixed in with, Birds Hill Provincial Park. It’s fully tree and landscape and there’s lots of resident animals and wildlife around. You can feed the resident pigs, goats and, chickens or just admire them. You can also just roam around the property and the paths. It’s all around just a wonderful place to go for lunch, to shop around, or to have your wedding.

A lot of family members camped the wedding weekend so Pineridge Hollow was a perfect setting. They could just walk right over from their campsites or RVs to Pine Ridge Hollow.

Courtney had very clear vision for their wedding day and Scott was more than willing to walk along with it. She liked more muted tones with touches of pink and lots of greenery to go with the setting.

We worked with some amazing vendors to bring together a wedding design that really captured their vibe as well as complemented the location.

I asked the ushers  (aka brothers) to spread some petals. They did it with serious style and swagger. I think flower boys might become a new thing. I dig it.

I was so honoured that Courtney & Scott asked me to officiate their wedding! It was really sweet getting to ask them all sorts of questions about their love story and put together a personalized ceremony for them.

A little post-ceremony hugging and cheers was in order.

Shoe issue time-out. Sometimes we have to run back to our emergency kit (and it’s big and epic and has all sorts of things you wouldn’t even imagine in it) to get something to take care of the Bride (or anyone else in need for that matter). We’re happy to get down in the dirt and take care of things (sometimes literally).

Signature drink? Yes please! We made sure Courtney & Scott were brought one during family photos.

Ski shots anyone? Clearly we’ve been missing something. This was a hit all night long.

You can see through these photos that there are some inside jokes and definitely some funny speeches were made.

Courtney’s younger brothers did a whole rap routine set to the music of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I think you might even still see some of the videos posted our Instagram highlights. It was a total riot.

We’re not sure what the Cheese Whiz inside joke or memory was about but it was sure cute to see them all enjoy and reminisce together.

Now this was by far the most charming father daughter dance we have ever seen. Not only was Courtney dancing with her dad, Scott was dancing with their daughter. Right? Awe.

Between dinner we had speeches and the night went on with all sorts of hilarious jokes from family and friends and really memorable stories of growing up together. Clearly they had lots of laughter and love anywhere they went.

I had to get a photo with these guys before the night was over. I miss you already!

A big thanks to all the vendors, family, and friends that helped bring together Courtney & Scott’s wedding:
