Elizabeth & Javier’s Bright & Festive Fairmont Wedding

To say that it was Elizabeth & Javier’s wedding would be leaving out someone very special – Joel. He came to our meetings, knew what he wanted at the wedding, didn’t want, and how things should run. We had a lot of fun – the three of us – planning out the day and we were so happy to see it all come together.

Here are some of our favourite moments from Elizabeth & Javier’s Bright & Festive Fairmont Wedding.

Elizabeth had a few spare pieces of decor among her things and told us to just have fun with it and use what we thought made sense. Well, I took the opportunity to play around with the escort card table. I took decor from here and there, some extra greenery, and set up the table. After all the cards were taken I reused the flowers in other places. It’s a fun transitional table that won’t always be in use so why not have fun and then move things around later.

We always ask our couples to give us a set of their stationery so we can set up a few shots. You may not keep the actual paper invite but we can have some fun with it and style it up for you to have to remember when going through your photos in the future.

This flower girl – she knew what to do and how to do it and just look at her. She was perfect for the role. Such a cutie.

After the ceremony the couple – and wedding party – snuck out to get some photos outside and around the exchange. It was a beautiful sunny day. Perfect for walking around downtown.

How fun is this cake? Bright, fun and, a little bit flirty! Elizabeth left some greenery for us to play with so we worked with Caked with Love to add on some more colour and texture to the already pretty cake.
