Honeymoon Packing Essentials
If you’re at all like me, which not many are, you’ll be planning your trip packing well ahead of time (I’m talking taking over the guest bedroom and spreading clothes and sunscreen tubes everywhere). Honeymoon Packing Essentials are no exception. When it comes to travel I like to pick out my outfits, try them all on (with some killer hype music, of course), pick the accessories, bags, shoes, everything.
Anticipation is one of the more enjoyable parts of travel, in my opinion (maybe second to getting a really killer trip deal). Planning it all and getting excited for what you’ll all see, do, wear, and eat. It will make you that much more ready and eager. Trust me, this is a fun lux habit you’ll want to embody.
I wanted to write a little blog post outlining our Honeymoon Packing Essentials and some extra trip and travel planning tips too!
Play Dress Up
You’re going to want something a touch fancy. It’s your honeymoon; you’re going to go out for at least one nice meal in there, maybe ten. Pack accordingly and make sure you pick things you can mix and match so you’re not on repeat the whole trip.
Underwear x 10
Ok, ladies, gays and theys, I know you’re with me here. And if you’re going anywhere remote extra undies are a must. Men, if you’re confused and you’re marrying a women, ask her how many underwear she packed for her most recent weekend away (still a little “huh?”? Head to TikTok).
Expect Temperature Ranges
You might be going somewhere tropical but that doesn’t mean the nights will be warm or there won’t be a cold date. You’ll be miserable if you don’t pack some options for layering, a good pair of jeans, and some cute jackets and scarves.
Check a bag. I mean it.
Don’t think you can do this all with a carry-on or two.
It’s your honeymoon and you’re going to want to look cute. Pay the $35 fee and bring all the things you want. Unless you’re traveling around there’s no reason not to pack your creature comforts, your fav shoes or three, and some surprises for your partner too.
Bring along some personal pieces too
Maybe you’re going all-inclusive. If so we suggest bring a fun towel, a named tumbler and of course some towel clips AND a floaty. The pools are great, and the drinks are flowing. Bring a floaty so you don’t have to just sit on the edge or swim. Seriously, live your best life.
Travel Sized Cosmetics
If you’ve got a mad skin care routine don’t leave it at home. Opt to either buy your favs in travel-sized or get yourself a nice travel-sized container kit and transfer some product over. The last thing you want when you get home is having that need to scrub and cleanse the heck out of your skin.
Wants one more tip?
Make sure the moment you get on the plane you let ALL the wedding planning go. It’s time to relax, enjoy, and just BE together.
