2015 is looking to be hot for classic weddings with a modern edge. Weddings with eclectic elegance, and we are seeing a lot of British influences (think Kate Middleton, Downtown Abbey and Victorian style).
2015 Wedding Trends – Fashion
Ear cuffs you say?
Yup, you heard right! This year the most unique accessory that we have been seeing is ear cuffs. It’s modern, edgy and sleek. Perfect for 2015.
Beautifully styled pony tails & braids
All different types of pony tails are popular with brides this year. Everything from straight pony tails, curls, and even braids are a making an appearance. This modern wedding hairstyle can be perfect for casual or classic looks. The only question is, which one will you choose?
Sexy is in this year! (Let’s be honest, Justin can bring sexy back any time he likes)
So feel free to dress yourself in that sexy silhouette style dress, low plunging back, peek-a-boo lace or even a 2 piece dress.

Colour pallets
Pink, creams and whites seem to be winning brides over this year when it comes to light colour pallets. For the darks we are seeing very royal shades like Marsala, gold and deep blues. Guaranteed to be both romantic and glamourous for your special day.
2015 is a ‘Wild’ year for floral trends
This year wedding flowers are letting loose. We will see lots of long cascading bouquets, centrepieces, bridesmaids wrist corsages and lush wall and ceiling hung florals, all adorned with wonderful wild flowers and lush greenery.
Bring on the greenery!
Lots of lush flowing greenery is being used for 2015. Everything from centrepieces, bouquets, table and chair draping’s, staircases and especially archways. Greenery can be very versatile and add a lot off wow to your wedding.
‘Gram it
Instagram has taken the wedding world by storm. Guests are being asked to share their photos for the couple’s special day on Instagram, via #hashtags. The couple will have picked a hashtag for the event and let the pictures fly in! It’s a modern, fun, unique way to collect photos of your special day and share them with your guests.

Looking for the most talked about meal of the year? Here are some ideas that have been popping up on the menu so far this year:
Bacon, bacon and more bacon!
Bacon has been popping up in everything this year from deserts to cocktails. The fun thing about bacon is that there are so many different ways to use it, so you will have no problem creating a custom menu using this most popular food of 2015. And I mean really, who doesn’t love bacon?
Comfort foods
Bring on the mac and cheese and the poutine! Having different food stations is a super fun way to move your guests around the room and intrigue their taste buds. Are you a fan of pub foods? Why not mini sliders and grilled cheese? Looking for an elegant way to dress up those mashed potatoes? How about serving them in a fancy martini glass? Or if you’re looking for something to make those potatoes a little more playful, why not some ice cream sundae glassware? Have fun with it!
Who’s ready for desert?
If you’re thinking desert bars, candy tables and late night cake pops, then you’re on the right track! For 2015 we will be seeing a lot of decadent snacks being served that will have your guests talking. Lollipops, cupcakes, desert sandwiches, donuts, macaroons and cookies will be all the rage this year. Customize your sweets table to add that extra layer of personalty to your wedding.

Signature drinks have become an increasingly popular trend. Mixologists have been busy creating new and unique cocktails and mocktails for this year’s lucky brides and grooms. Also popular for 2015 are cocktails uniquely made with tea. Sounds delish right?
