Hourly Consultation & The Things You Don’t Know About It
You might not have ever considered Hourly Consultation. There are many different ways to use Hourly Consultation and many different reason to hire us for it that you may not have thought of.
We thought it was time to share with you all the helpful things we can do for you – through Hourly Consultation.
Not all clients can afford the investment of Full Planning and that’s ok. All wedding budgets are different and we understand. Of course Full Wedding Planning is our favourite service to provide. If we can be a part of everything, fully supporting you, it’s ideal. We’re in it from start to finishing, guiding each step of the way.
Use it how you like it – your choice
Hourly Consultation can be a bit of this for you, depending on how you use it. With Hourly Consultation it’s client directed. If you want help with linens and want us to come to a meeting with you we can. If you’d like us to your venue and help work on the floor plan we can do that too. If you’d like to spend time reviewing all of your vendor contracts to make sure everything is in order we can do that too.
You can take your time with it
If you want to use a couple of hours when you’re first engaged to get your head around the planning and then wait a few months before needing more help that’s no problem. We’ll check in with you from time to time but you decide how and when you want to use the time.
A few things that are not included, you’ll se why
With Hourly Consultation there aren’t many limitations but there are a couple. We don’t do full wedding budgets, designs, or itineraries. These are offerings that can’t be quantified in hours but more so in experience. It’s taken us years to learn our way around the market, how to schedule a day well to optimize on timing and the elements involved AND wedding budgets are a huge part of our support through Full Planning – there is just SO much that goes into them.
Ten years of learning how to be a great Planner, Designer and, Coordinator can’t be put into Hourly Consultation in this way. It wouldn’t be fair to our Full Planning, Partial Planner, Design or Day of Coordination clients if we “gave” that away through Hourly Consultation. Don’t let that throw you off; we can still help in a lot of ways with the schedule, budget, and design. You can bring us your thoughts, ideas, and we can direct you each step.
It might be just what you need
A lot of our couples that hire us for Day of Coordination add on Hourly Consultation. You might be the type of couple that is pretty organized, has a lot planned, but you just need that extra peace of mind and another set of experienced eyes to make sure everything is lined up just right. It might just be the perfect amount of added support to make sure nothing is missing. With all the hard work you’ve put in having another set of eyes and someone that’s done this hundreds of times can be some of the best money you can spend on your wedding.
