Mercege & Ryan’s Backyard Tent Wedding
Mercege & Ryan had a wonderful vision for their day and we were excited to get to come along and help them plan it. They had a beautiful and personal backyard tent wedding.
They hired us for Hourly Consultation as well as Month/Day of Coordination. We got to work with them on making sure they had all the right vendors for a back yard wedding (there are A LOT more than you’re going to need!) and that the tent fit in the space and all the orders included everything they needed – and that’s just what we did with the Hourly Consultation part of their package.
With Month/Day of Coordination, we dealt with all the management of the day, worked with all the vendors, set up, and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Mercege is one of the sweetest women you’ll meet and she’s always giggling. That sort of happy excited giggle you want to join in on. From the moment I met her, I knew I wanted to get to be a part of her wedding so I was THRILLED when they hired is.
Here are some of our favourites images and moments from their backyard tent wedding.
It’s a sweet treat leaving something for your partner to open when they’re getting ready. The nerves can get to you a bit so leaving them something to cheer them on and get that that much more excited is encouraged.
The day was hot and we mean HOT (+37 that day). Everyone had that summer glow that’s for dang sure. Clearly, that’d didn’t phase these guys at all. They went about all the fun of photos and getting to spend the day together with all their fav people.
Post ceremony we got a wonderful summer breeze and you could almost hear that audible sigh of enjoyment.
It’s pretty fantastic having your wedding in your own yard. It makes it really easy to get all the puppy cuddles you want – all day long.
Brother of the Bride wasn’t having it; sunglasses were a must. Turns out he’s a total softy and just didn’t want to be seen crying (ugly crying). We’ll take that as a good reason to run with this look.
The night went on with delicious food, great speeches, and of course cake!
Ryan & Mom started out with a slow dance and busted out a mash up that got everyone hooting and hawlering. It was the sweetest surprise.

Amanda,
Thank you so much for everything that you and your team did to allow the kids to have such a flawless wedding celebration.
Mercege was thrilled to have such a fabulous planner to take care of all of the important details to make their day such a success. We had a fabulous time celebrating with friends and family and we will recommend you to anyone who is looking for someone to ease the monumental task of planning a wedding solo.
Regards, Desiree Latimer (Mercege’s Mom)
Awe, you are so totally welcome! We loved getting to be a part of it all and help them just enjoy their day.
