Vendor Spotlight: J Stephens Photography

We’re excited to share with you a new vendor spotlight on the lovely J Stephens Photography. We love Jess, her work, and of course her sweet personality. Here’s a little bit more about her and some of her fab photos!

Tell us a little bit about you!

My name is Jessica Stephens I’m a photographer based out of Winnipeg with a soft and candid approach to my work. When I started off with photography I realized very fast how much I loved to capture people in a candid way, which can be difficult once they see you creeping up with a camera! I’ve always been a creative type needing some sort of outlet which photography has strongly taken over.

What inspires you?

I get inspired in so many ways like learning more about the people I meet, travelling to new places or having a camera in my hands. I love the simplicity of having two people that are in love in front of the camera and knowing that every shoot is going to bring something different and new!

What do you love the most about your job?

What I love most about my job is that I get to do something that I love so much! I am so passionate about. Learning new skills and meeting new people are some of the best perks! Not knowing what is next is exciting to me and who knows where it could take me (all around the world I hope!). I’ve been so blessed with the love and support I’ve received getting me into this industry and being able to capture some of the most wonderful, emotional and organic moments in a couples lives is such an honour. I’ve never been more excited and thrilled to have more weddings booked this coming season then ever before! I can’t wait to show you what I have in store.
