We had the pleasure of working with Winnipeg Wedding Photography Collective on one of our resent photoshoots (of our booth and model from the It’s Love Bridal Showcase). They did such a beautiful job and we just had to share them with you! Here’s part 2 of our interview with the fab four that together create the Winnipeg Wedding Photography Collective.
Reanne
Three words:
Dreamer. Go-getter. Free-spirited.
Best professional lesson you ever learned:
“Practice your craft. It takes discipline, a compass for knowing where you want to go, and wisdom to know what to do once you get there.”
Last thing that gave you warm fuzzies:
Forever Nuts by David’s Tea
Who inspires me:
Describe your perfect day as a photographer.
Let’s see. I do not think I am asking for much, but… Take me to California for awfully beautiful light and a breathtaking natural setting. I’ll gladly take some sun and partial clouds, and find me a couple that is so in love that they forget there is a camera in front of them. I will stand by their side as they make the biggest promise of their lives surrounded by their most loved ones at sunset. You said perfect, right?!
Describe your perfect day off.
That is easy. A day at home with no worries in the world either editing personal work or reading a book, and taking a nap in the afternoon. Either that or getting out of the house and trying something new!
Besides friends and family, what are three things you can’t live without?
Camera. Art. Music.
What are you watching, reading and listening to right now?
Watching: Haven’t turned the TV on in seven years.
Reading: Picture Perfect Posing by Roberto Valenzuela
Listening: Jack Johnson
In Winnipeg, where do you like to eat, get coffee, shop?
Eat: Stella’s Cafe & Bakery
Get coffee: Make Coffee + Things
Shop: Winners
Looking back, what would you tell your 16 year old self?
Find balance and pour your energy into things that will make you grow.
What is your favourite getaway location? Why?
Somewhere secluded in the woods to enable me to completely disconnect from the millions of stimuli that present themselves each and everyday, and to reconnect with what matters most.
